Counting cards in casinos legalized in Indiana

The Supreme Court of the State of Indiana has recently made the decision to allow card counting on blackjack tables in casinos in the region. This decision was taken after a lawsuit was brought by a player who rightly considers the card counting practice as perfectly legal. Recall that the counting cards can reduce the casino advantage to less than 1%, which is of course not to the taste of most of the casinos that treat card counters like parasites.

The case began when Thomas Donovan , an experienced card counter, was banned from playing at the Grand Victoria Casino. He immediately filed a lawsuit against the gaming establishment and has been successful. This case could set a precedent, but eleven of the twelve casinos account the state have appealed to the Supreme Court challenging the decision. These casinos are even threatening to change the rules for blackjack card counting is impossible.

This is a case to be followed with interest since the outcome of this trial could have a huge impact on the future of blackjack.
