Play and win at blackjack / / KO Blackjack
Released May 18, 2009, it is one of the few books blackjack being translated into French.
The KO system of counting cards, also known as Knock-Out card count is explained in the book Knock-Out Blackjack , Olaf Vancura not written and Ken Fuchs. The system KO Blackjack is an unbalanced system that does not need to juggle between the account and the real account. Considered easier than the Hi-Lo method, it is a credible alternative if you tried to use the counting system Hi-Lo and you have trouble controlling the actual count and the count underway The difference in accuracy between the two methods is very low.
KO count system
This system adds a low card counting Hi-Lo, 7 having a value of +1. The imbalance of this system is voluntary, to avoid counting actual conversions of other methods. The next table shows values for each card:
| 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 | Count 1 |
| 8, 9 | Count 0 |
| 10, J, Q, K, A | Count -1 |
Counting starts at -20 to 6 on a blackjack game and a benefit appears from a “key count” -4.
The opinion of Mr. G
“The best comparative study to date by me between accounts Hi-Lo and KO is that published in BJA3 Don Schlesinger on page 176, Table 9.28 This table clearly shows a” slight “superiority of the Hi-Lo on the KO. This said, the simplicity associated with KO is a way to pay the price for many players. In general and with varying penetration, and the standard rules of betting, the Hi-Lo performs about 5% better the KO.
Personally, what makes me choose the Hi-Lo is not necessarily his performance but the fact that this system is a said, balanced. That is to say that the sum of these values is equal to zero, which is not the case with a system like KO is said, not balanced and where the sum of these values equals one. Why you ask? Because I also do the “shuffle tracking” which is an advanced method of counting and tracking that to do, life is much easier with a balanced!
In conclusion, if your visit to the world of blackjack merely want to earn some money or not lose too much and above all, fun to win in blackjack and well as an account KO just perfect for it has virtually the same performance as the Hi-Lo and is much easier to use since it does not require conversion to TC. If like me, you choose an approach of blackjack where you’ll want to impose any limits, an account as the Hi-Lo is preferable to me. For example, MIT obliged each of his players as in Hi-Lo for several reasons including the moving account information between teammates.
